happy world - lithographs 2015

Animals can have fantastic facial expressions. I saw a photo of a penguin that fascinated me and made me do three animal portraits that try to capture their personality. I place the portraits in a pop art context mixing print and gouache which proved challenging technically. The frames are an integral part of this happy trio.

I printed them at the Lithographic Museum in Stockholm and  represented the same museum at the 7th International Print Symposium in Tidaholm, Sweden July, 2015.
